Notice Of Property Tax Increase - The City of Waleska has tentatively adopted a millage rate, which will require an increase in property taxes by 50.98 percent.   All concerned citizens are invited to public hearings on this tax increase to be held at the City of Waleska City Hall, 8891 Fincher Rd., Waleska, Georgia 30183 at the indicated times: July 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and July 22, 2025, at 6:30 PM.  This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 3.000 mills, an increase of .963. Without this tentative increase, the millage rate will be no more than 1.987.   The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $500,000 is approximately $197.54 and the approximate tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $450,000 is $182.34.

NOTICE: Payment date due and water service cut off.  Pursuant to Section 26-62 of the Waleska City Code, every subscriber shall be required to pay all bills for services by the 15th of each month.  If any subscriber shall not pay all bills due by the 24th of each month, the water system shall be authorized to cut off the water at the subscriber’s water meter.
